Misophonia Conference

Helping Children Cope with Misophonia

August 30th, 2026
10 am Eastern to 2pm Eastern

Helping Children Cope with Misophonia is an upcoming virtual conference exploring misophonia. This event is for anyone seeking to better understand misophonia and how it impacts children. This conference is specifically for clinicians, parents, educators, and those who offer support to children with misophonia or sensory dysregulation. This conference also serves as a way to fund our research, education, and outreach programs and provides funding for The International Misophonia Foundation.

Misophonia involves strong negative emotional or physiological responses to specific sounds, like chewing or repetitive noises. Our conference aims to deepen understanding of misophonia and its impact by combining cutting-edge research with practical education.

You’ll gain insights into current research findings, learn effective coping strategies, and hear valuable personal experiences. Our goal is to empower those providing care to children with misophonia with reliable information and practical tools.

For Canadian Counsellors and Psychotherapists, this event is pre approved for 4 credit hours from the CCPA.
