This Q&A will feature a presentation for our plans for the International Misophonia Foundation’s $1,000,000 fundraiser with plans to build a research and clinical treatment center with a sensory-friendly retreat attached. Shaylynn Hayes-Raymond will be presenting and is the Director of the IMF,a 501 (c) (3) registered nonprofit in Missouri. Shaylynn also serves on the board as the treasurer.

The International Misophonia Foundation plans to build a research and treatment center in the United States. We are currently scouting multiple locations and are considering factors like available funding, price, and ease of access for community members. Our treatment and research center will be a hub for misophonia sufferers, clinicians, and researchers alike. Our mission is to put persons with misophonia at the forefront of the project. Sensory-safe spaces are being considered at all levels of this project (especially soundproofing).
