Deepika Anand received a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at Duke University Medical Center. She worked as clinical faculty at the outpatient clinic at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University until December 2020 before moving to Chicago to start a private practice, the CBT Center of Chicago where she currently works. When at Duke, Deepika conducted research to better understand and assess misophonia as the biostatistician at the Center for Misophonia and Emotion Regulation (CMER). She also has expertise in treating misophonia using evidence-based techniques rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy.
