Dr. Rousso has worked as a psychologist for over 30 years. A graduate of the New School for Social research, she has a diverse background with training in child and adult therapy, psycho-educational testing, nutritional counseling, and positive psychology coaching. Psychotherapy typically focuses on how our past experiences drive us as adults while coaching is more forward-looking. Child therapy is geared toward helping children become more expressive and self-accepting. She works with children and adults to assess their needs, and build a treatment plan from there. In some instances, people work in a more traditional talk therapy model, except for young children who express themselves through play.
