What is Considered a Tax-Deductible Donation?

We are a registered 501(c)(3) Products such as events, books, awareness merchandise, are not considered tax-deductible by US law. These are considered commercial products and are thus not donations. However, any “profit” from these purchases go directly to the foundation’s operating costs and mission goals.

All donations that do not receive tangible benefits are eligible to be used as tax-deductible donations through the IRS. For these donations, you will be sent a receipt via email that you can use with your taxes. You may only claim the portion of your order that was a “donation”. All donations are under the “donations” category. You must live in the United States and file your taxes through the IRS to claim a donation. While we are incredibly grateful for all non-US donations, we are only authorized to provide tax receipts in our registered country.

When making a tax-claim, please report the cost minus any processing fees. These will be clearly shown on your receipt.
