Prashanth Prabhu

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in Audiology at All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore. I have completed my Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D in Audiology from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore. My research areas have focused on assessment and rehabilitation of auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder, tinnitus, auditory processing disorders, misophonia and hidden hearing loss/cochlear synaptopathy. I have published more than 90 articles as author and co-author in reputed peer reviewed International journals. I have written eight book chapters in the field of Audiology. I am also serving as topic editor for ‘Tinnitus’ section in the ‘Frontiers in Audiology and Otology’ journal. I am currently serving as an Academic Editor for the prestigious PLOSONE journal. I am also the Assistant Editor in Journal of All India Institute of Speech and Hearing. I have completed specialized course on audiologist delivered cognitive behavioral therapy for tinnitus, hyperacusis and misophonia.
