Shaylynn Hayes is a writer, graphic/web designer, misophonia and mental health advocate, political science enthusiast, and lover of flowers and the ocean. Shaylynn is the co-founder of Misophonia International/Misophonia Education and has written about mental health for The Huffington Post, Thought Catalog, Different Brains, and numerous other websites. Shaylynn comes from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, but has always been fascinated with fast-paced, morally ambiguous stories. Some of her favorite books include Savages by Don Winslow, Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire, and classics like Wuthering Heights, and Pride and Prejudice. Shaylynn also likes to take influence from television and loves shows like Gossip Girl, 90210, Pretty Little Liars, Desperate Housewives, Dead To Me, and really anything where character-driven mistakes cause drama.
